Dear bot-runners,

You may have seen from the recent series of blog posts tagged Academy, which are aimed at helping users learn both the theory and practice of various Hummingbot strategies, such as market making and arbitrage. Based on feedback from our community, education on how to use Hummingbot is sorely needed.

We’re excited to announce that we’ve added a new section to the Hummingbot website called Hummingbot Academy, where we’ll add articles, videos, and guides that teach you various aspects of Hummingbot.

There will be content for new users, such as quickstart guides for different strategies, as well as for experienced users, such as guides that show you how to create scripts that extend a strategy’s functionality. Later on, we’ll also add content for developers as well, such as an updated version of our developer manual.

Hummingbot Academy is just one aspect of our renewed focus on on empowering users of all kinds to get the most out of Hummingbot. Please let us know what you think, especially if there’s a topic that we should cover in a future Hummingbot Academy article.

Did you notice that we have launched our new website last week? We have been working hard on a website relaunch during the last few weeks. The new site emphasizes the most important information our users might need to know about Hummingbot, and highlights the recently launched Hummingbot Academy where you can learn the ropes of Hummingbot's strategies and gain deeper understanding on liquidity mining.

πŸ†• Algorand liquidity mining campaign going live on October 27, 2020!

Borderless Capital and the Algorand Foundation announce that they have respectively invested in, and partnered with Hummingbot, to bring liquidity mining to the Algorand Ecosystem, as part of their ongoing efforts to promote and grow DeFi and broader Finance 3.0 initiatives on Algorand.

We will shortly be kicking off a new 6-month liquidity mining campaign for Algorand that will start on October 27, 2020 12:00am UTC! The campaign will have a reward pool totalling $30,000 in ALGO and USDT ASA tokens, offered to participants for providing liquidity in for Algo.

We are excited to announce a new liquidity mining campaign for NEM that will start on November 3, 2020 12:00am UTC. Both the NEM and Hummingbot communities will soon be able to share an initial $15,000 reward pool in XEM by participating in market making for the XEM token.
